NMUASC possesses several agreements with Academic and Industry organizations that conduct basic and applied research, within a broad variety of fields, and applications in every facet of UAS technology.

Fields of research include, but are not limited to, platform/payload design and testing, engine design, sensors (EO, IR, multispectral, laser), material technology (plastics, metals, and composites), power generation, and advanced manufacturing. Our team members also pursue varied research on the use of UASs, the possible impacts, the correct safety measures and systems required to integrate UASs in the National Airspace, and, finally, development of new applications.

Furthermore, through our academic network, NMUASC members and clients will have access to advanced testing equipment, such as wind tunnels and a laboratory dedicated to UASs.
